My designer crush - Anine Bing
At 63, I have actually wholehearted reverted to a wardrobe style that I relied on heavily while I was in my teens and early 20’s. The key words would be casual and comfortable.
I feel most like myself when I’m dressed in my uniform that is very denim oriented. I love comfortable footwear and while my style is definitely classic, I like it to have a certain vintage edge. Anine Bing, a clothing line out of L.A. is the perfect go to brand for me. The brand creates quality pieces in classic styles, often with an edge. Anine Bing, the creator of the line is a busy mum in her thirties and she designs her clothes so that any woman can put together an outfit to suit her lifestyle.
I saw this cosy cardigan on a bloggers Instagram page in 2015 and I had to find it and own it.
I love blazers of all sorts and statement coats and jackets. I do like to have a certain edge to the classic look so that I don’t appear too boring. I think Parisian women do this look very well. Comfortable. Not fussy. Effortless. Anine’s leather jackets are instant classics and timeless pieces for any wardrobe.
For me, Anine Bing has taken the uncertainty out of my purchases. I know that any piece I order will work into my existing wardrobe pieces. I truly wish my whole closet was only Anine! When I think of years of combing through stores, now I look no further than Anine’s website.
Denim, silk and flannel, a winning combination.
Prada bag, and thrift shop scarf but jeans, silk camisole, v-neck sweater and leather jacket are all Anine Bing!!!
