London - Day two and The Ivy Chelsea Garden Brunch

Starting to feel very aclimatized now.

As I mentioned, some of our days were very unplanned but Ashleigh had prebooked brunch at The Ivy Chelsea Garden for Sunday, October 2. I’ve heard of The Ivy (there are a few) for years and it didn’t disappoint! Sooo pretty. I never met a floral pattern I didn’t like.

It was fun to just be in Chelsea on Kings Road. On past visits to London we stayed in Chelsea so it felt very warm and familiar. My Grannie was born on New Kings Road in Fulham in 1905 so it is in my DNA.

After brunch, I made an impromptu visit to my sweet B and B owner on Bywater Street. She was so gracious and we had a little catch-up chat. I got to see her lovely spaniel, Archie, again as well. Then off to the Phoenix for a quick drink before venturing on. I love Chelsea!

On foot, as always, we wandered back to wards Pimlico. On the way we found this amazing restaurant, Kutir! We had an amazing meal and headed home. My app told me I walked 14, 479 - 6.5 miles. These days are a perfect balance. Meeting a dear friend for lunch tomorrow. Sweet dreams.
